Statistic process control (SPC) supports you with the introduction and application of quality assurance systems. In combination with the INCLUDIS module MDC, process-values are read into the data base for every current job via the machine interface. Measurement values are recorded via the serial interface (central computer interface), printer interface, OPC, TCP/IP or via analogue signal processing (sensors) according to design, manufacturer, and the machines’ year of construction.
Numerical test procedures relating to the process capability provide information on the characteristics of the recorded series of measurements. The process capability with indication of the Cp- and Cpk-factors is automatically computed on the basis of the recorded measurement values. The current Cpk-factor can be checked at any time during the run-in process so that corrections of machine settings may be made in time in the case of process fluctuations.
