Guangzhou – China in May 2011

Exhibiting at the CHINAPLAS 2011 in Guangzhou, China in May 2011

This year INCLUDIS went all the way to the middle kingdom. Confuzius says that the journey is the destination.

From May 17th – 20th, 2011 the CHINAPLAS took place in Guangzhou, in the province Kanton. It is the second biggest plastics and rubber show of the world with 2.440 attendees and 94.084 visitors. In contrast to the K-show it is every year in rotation with Shanghai.

INCLUDIS presented the newest functions of their software solution INCLUDIS.mdc – the webbased machine data collection solution in the German Pavillon. In the neighborhood were all the German machine builders like KAUTEX, BEKUM, ARBURG and Dr. Boy.

The terrain of the newly-build tradeshow complex Pazhou of the China Import & Export Fair was very futuristic, quite similar to Western standards. But the tropical temperatures which could not be overcome by any air-conditioning was a constant reminder to being in Asia. Same goes for Guangzhou, an industrial town with 17 million people.

We worked very well with the Chinese people during the trade show. They are hard-working and ambitious people.

Our conclusion is that China with 1,3 billion residents is the fasted growing market. Plenty of our customers already have productions sites in China. In 2015 there will be the ASEAN, the world biggest free trade zone with countries like China, India, Korea, Japan and 10 smaller countries including approx. 3 billion people. Because of this and several other reasons INCLUDIS wants to be in this market.

For now we work on our leads and say „Until next year in Shanghai...“
